High Island Reservoir Ð Constructed in Sai Kung East Country Park, it is one of the winning projects in "Ten Engineering Wonders in Hong Kong" organized by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers in 2000. The greastest challenge encountered in building this largest reservoir in Hong Kong was to close off both ends of the Kwun Mun Channel which separated High Island from the peninsula.
