Introduction

Embraced in Ma On Shan's Ngong Ping area where is one of Hong Kong's handful plateau. Characterized by its extensive stretch of flat land and magnificent view, it is also close to the abandoned Ngong Ping Village. Most of the houses are collapsed and engulfed by lush vegetations, pristine Fung Shui woodland. The area constitutes a breeding paradise for versatile wildlife i.e. birds and you may easily spot their existence.

How to Get There

Method 1: From Sunshine City / Yiu On Estate in Ma On Shan, take village minibus NR84 and get off at Ma On Shan Village Terminus. Follow the direction to Ma On Shan Country Trail and walk upward for an hour to reach the site. Timetables: From Sunshine City / Yiu On Estates: Morning departure: 0800 0930 1030 Afternoon departure: 1300 1600 1640# 1730 1900 From Ma On Shan Village: Morning departure: 0700 0830 1000 1130 Afternoon departure: 1330 1630# 1700 1800 #Depart / Terminate at Yiu On Estate, not stopping Sunshine City Method 2: From Sai Kung Town, take Minibus 3 (Nam Shan Village) and get off at Po Lo Che. Walk up Pak Kong Au Road to Tai Shui Tseng village for 10 minutes. Then trace the trail of Ma On Shan Country Trail up. It takes about an hour to reach the site.
