Set amid Lead Mine Pass, it is close to the starting point of MacLehose Trail Stage 8 and Wilson Trail Stage 7. You can get to the campsite either from Shing Mun Pineapple Dam or Yuen Tun Ha, Tai Po

Sitting at the intersection of MacLehose Trail Stage 8 and Wilson Trail Stage 7, it is the gateway to Tai Mo Shan and Tai Po. Take a 30-minute walk to the top of Grassy Hill and enjoy the panorama of the north. The woodlands nearby, nourishing a wide variety of animals and plants, mark the beauty of nature.

How to Get There

From Shing Mun Pineapple Dam: Take the green minibus route no. 82 at Tsuen Wan Shiu Wo Street to Shing Mun Reservoir. Visitors can also get off at Ho Fung College bus stop via bus route No. 32 _ 40X _ 46P _ 46X _ 47X _ 48X _ 73X _ 278X , and walk along the Shing Mun Road for 20 minutes to reach the Shing Mun Reservoir minibus terminus. Walk along the Pineapple Dam Nature Trail for 20 minutes to the end and turn right. Following the forest track and signage to Lead Mine Pass and reach the campsite. The whole trip is around 1 hour 30 minutes. From Yuen Tun Ha, Tai Po: Take minibus 23K from Tai Po Market MTR station to San Uk Ka. Take a 15-minute walk to Yuen Tun Ha, Tai Po, and follow the steps of Wilson Trail. It takes 1 hour 30 minutes to reach the campsite.
